Cabarita offers a few wave options with a headland that acts as a right hand point and a few beachys further north. Protected from the Southerly winds it is onshore and often messy in a Northerly. This wave attracts a few longboard comps throughout the year including the Australian Titles. Cabarita breaks fast through different sand sections depending on the shifting banks offering also slower fatter parts along its long peeling wave face. With a long wave its easy to pick a section and get some waves even in crowded conditions. Great for the beginner and progressing intermediate on smaller days and unreal for those more experienced surfers on a bigger swell.
