This is the main beach break at Caloundra. With A-frames that are produced on the right swell this break also offers a left hand point and a groyne at the opposite end. A place that is protected from the Northerly winds that affect a lot of other breaks further North up the coast. A short paddle out the back and usually small so a great place if you’re learning to surf and a very touristy vibe. It can get big on the occasional cyclone swell, but this doesn’t happen very often.
