Tracy Naughton is a local artist and photographer specializing in surf and coastal lifestyle shoots.
Capturing surfers and surf culture is a particular passion as it incorporates locals and visitors alike and ties them to our beautiful landscape capturing perfect moments and memories to hold onto for generations.
Tracy became interested in shooting surfing and in particular women’s surfing after watching the style and grace of the competitors at the Noosa Festival of Surfing. She was approached to be included in an all women’s surf magazine and became hooked on the subject and the never ending search for the shots that make her smile and hopefully brings light into other peoples lives.
Noosa is a favourite spot to shoot as there is an abundance of beauty and not just the natural environment but the locals are welcoming and there’s endless perspectives and light conditions to work with.
Tracy also paints surf and coastal scenes and regularly holds exhibitions. She has an online shop for her fine Art Prints and is the Curator and exhibitor of the Sea to She Art Group – which is a collection of female surfers artists and photographers that work together to promote art and photography in Women’s surfing.
