Stricklands is the most consistent wave on Rottnest Island. Lefts peel into the eastern pocket over a shallow shelf, reaching up to 12ft. At the end of the wave there is a barrel section just waiting to be locked in. Also good for the natural surfers with rights peeling through on small to medium swells. Sometimes more crowded as it isn’t the gnarliest reef on the island so some intermediate surfers can pick off a few, and if their lucky paddle safely back out through the channel. If you venture onto the island itself, you’re guaranteed to meet a friendly Quokka!
